Rats can get in to your home in many ways, via, a hole in the wall, broken or damaged air bricks, or simply through the drains. If the bung on the interceptor is missing the rats can easily get under your house via the drains from the man hole outside, rats feed on sewage, they love a blocked drain where the sewage is flowing over the top of the interceptor, it also allows them to venture further up the pipe and under your home where they find a way in, this can be prevented by simply fitting an interceptor plug or bung, this will stop the rats at the main drain, preventing them from getting a free meal and a new home in and under your home. We will check your drains to make sure this is not the point of entry if you have a rat infestation. If it is we can put it right.
